Occasionally your Blockbox license will expiry and you will need to update your Blockbox with a new license file in order to ensure that the data collected by the appliance is uploaded to the analytics portal, Combine. When that happens you will need to reach out to your designated Block 64 rep to purchase/obtain a new subscription and an accompanying license.dat file.
Scenario 1: Blockbox has already expired.
If your Blockbox license has already expired then you will simply need to navigate to the web server of the Blockbox - https://IPthatyoudesignated and it should prompt you to load the license file there.
Scenario 2: Blockbox is nearing expiry, but we can still access the tool.
If you are updating the license before it has expired you can follow the simple steps outlined below to update your Blockbox.
- Navigate to Settings (drop-down menu in the top-right corner of your Blockbox dashboard) and select License
- Next click on 'Select License File' and browse to the license.dat file.
- Once you've loaded the license file, you can click Submit and you're all set!
