Block 64 and Azure Advisor
Block 64’s partners and customers seek to use a product that acts as a single source of truth for all of their ITAM needs. It is much easier to view data in one place then going to find the different data sets scattered through out their environment. As such, having this data available in the Combine can make things easier for our customers.
The Block 64 Azure Advisor report parses the data from the Azure tenant to focus on the key insights. Block 64 pulls this data nightly for each customer.
Upon loading the page, customers will be able to see their current Advisor score. Your Advisor score is calculated based on coherence to the 5 categories mentioned above. Users can also see the number of recommendations per category and track the history of their Advisor score.
Below the graphs is a table that outlines the current recommendations for each category. To simply the view, recommendations that are repeated are consolidated into a singular row. This is to make it easier for users to navigate the recommendations they currently have. By focusing in on the most prevalent recommendations, customers can drive the most impactful changes to their Azure environment.
A more granular report of all recommendations can be exported by clicking the export button on the report. This is helpful for users who need a deeper look at what the Azure Advisor is recommending and are looking to implement those changes in their environment.
